Follow these steps
Place a Base Note
Open your 808 in the Piano Roll and place a standard note where you want the bass to start. This is your 'root' note.
Activate the Slide Toggle
Double-click a new note above or below your original note to open the Note Properties. Click the 'Slide' icon (triangle shape) and accept.
Position the Slide Note
Overlap the slide note with the end of your base note. The duration of the slide note determines how long it takes to reach the new pitch.
Adjust Polyphony Settings
In the Channel Settings, ensure the 'Mono' or 'Legato' options are checked. This prevents notes from overlapping and creating muddy frequencies.
