Hey, I'm Martin, your instructor & mentor

If we haven’t met yet – Hi, my name’s Martin Svensson from Stockholm, Sweden and I’m a full time music producer and owner of the music platform called Music-Prod.com & a top-rated instructor on Udemy for music production courses đź‘‹ 🇸🇪

I began my journey with Logic Pro & FL Studio back when I was deep into exploring music composition and production, without any followers, no tracks released, and essentially no clue about music production at a professional level.

However, through countless hours of trial and error, studying, and practicing, I started to understand the ins and outs of music production.

Navigating the complexities of music production was not easy at the beginning. 

I was juggling a demanding day job, managing personal responsibilities, and still trying to find time for my passion for music.

But the dream of creating my own music, of having the freedom and flexibility that comes from mastering music production, kept me going…

18 months into my journey, I had completed several tracks, started building a following, and began seeing real, tangible results from my efforts.

Two years down the line, I had released dozens of tracks, started making a significant income from my music, and decided to dedicate myself full-time to music production.

Now, after being in the music production world for years, my portfolio has expanded massively, reaching tens of thousands of music producers globally and I’m now making music for producers and artist full-time.

Every week is an exciting adventure, collaborating with a network of talented artists and producers, and doing what I love with complete freedom, creativity, and satisfaction.

Welcome to FL Studio Academy, a comprehensive online course designed for passionate music producers ready to take their skills to the next level.

Week 1

Introduction

This section is active right after you sign up for the academy. We will get back to you with some questions about what you want to achieve in the program. You can be a total beginner or an experienced user. This is also where we set the start date of the program for you.

  • 01. Introduction

    This is a short form where you fill in what you would like to achieve with the Academy. I will also personally contact you to make sure that everything is set up as it should for you.

  • 02. Choice Of DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)

    This Academy program is focused on FL Studio, but we also work with other DAW's. Just let us know what DAW you're using.

Week 2-3

DAW Introduction 1-2 Weeks

In this section, we will look at your preferred DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). You will get an introduction to it and go through a course so you can make your first music production. If you’re already experienced with the preferred music production software, you will get the option to start making music instead.

  • 01. Introduction to FL Studio 1-7 Days

    You will get access to all of our FL Studio courses (from Music-Prod.com) and learn FL Studio from the ground up.

  • 02. Music Production in FL Studio 1-7 Days

    You will also be able to watch a Music Production course in FL Studio. This course is a start to finish course where you watch me make a music production in FL Studio and where you can follow along to get the basics of Music Production in FL Studio.

Week 4-7

Music Production - First Track 3-4 Weeks

For these weeks, we will begin our first music production. This involves sending us a reference track, which means you will need to find an already released song and attempt to replicate its style. It is not necessary to copy it exactly, but rather create something similar. We will explain how and why this should be done. The deadline to submit the initial version of your song is by Sunday. It doesn’t have to be a complete track – just a starting point with a full arrangement. All of this will be covered in the course. You will receive feedback on your track through video.

  • 01. Music Production - Reference Track 1 Day

    First music production section with the first song made. You will have to find a reference track, a song that is similar to something that you want to achieve.

  • 02. Creative Week 5-6 Days x4 Weeks

    For this week, you will make your first song. We will be available for you if you got any questions but save all questions for the video feedback on Sunday. Just focus on making your first song, even though you're not happy with the end result. We will perfect this song each week. Deadline on Sunday.

  • 03. Feedback Monday 1 Day x 4 Weeks

    We will record your feedback video on Monday and you should get it on the same day.

  • 02-03. Repeated for each Week
Week 8-15

Music Production - 3 Tracks 8 Weeks

Here's where the magic happens. You will make 3 full songs and get feedback from me on each song. This feedback is a recorded video from when I work on your songs in our studios. You decide if you want to perfect one song for all weeks or if you want to divide the 8 weeks for 3 songs.

  • 01. Music Production 5-6 Days x 8 Weeks

    In this week, we choose a new song that you want to make. Either from a reference track or something from scratch. You will have 5-6 Days per Week to complete your song. Complete song does not mean finished, it should have a full arrangement.

  • 02. Feedback Monday 1 Day x 8 Weeks

    Each Monday, you will get a video from me where i go through your song from the aspect of your questions.

  • 02-03. Repeated for each Week
Week 16

Advice & Music Release 1-2 Weeks

This is the last week of the program. We will decide with you what track you want to release on our label if you want that. We will also give you advice about the career and what you should do to take your career to the next level.

  • 01. Introduction to Labels & Releasing Music 5 Days

    A short introduction course on how to release your song for the public. We cover everything from how and why you should release your song through a label or on your own. We will also cover topics such as copyright, contacting labels and sound quality.

  • 02. Music Release Desicion 1 Day

    Together with you, we decide on where you want one (or more) tracks to be released. If the sound quality is on par with our standards, your track can be released on our label for free. We will also discuss and contact other labels for you if that's what you want.

  • 03. Other Questions 1 Day

    For this day, you will get a full session with Martin Svensson through a video, where we discuss the questions you got for me.
